JSA Disclaimer
Last Updated: August 27, 2026Limits on EquipmentFlow Job Safety Analysis creation, review, approval, signature, and storage workflows.
1. JSA Tool Only
EquipmentFlow provides a digital workflow for preparing, storing, routing, signing, and approving Job Safety Analyses. A JSA created or stored in EquipmentFlow is an administrative record and not a promise that a job is safe or legally compliant.
2. No Elimination of Hazards
Completing or approving a JSA does not eliminate hazards, certify workplace safety, replace supervision, satisfy legal obligations, replace required inspections, or establish that controls are adequate. Conditions may change after a JSA is created, and the work must be reassessed by qualified personnel when conditions, crew, equipment, weather, materials, or tasks change.
3. Customer Responsibility
Customers remain responsible for hazard identification, controls, permits, training, competent supervision, required consultation, crew communication, regulatory compliance, and stopping work when conditions are unsafe. Users are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of each submission and for ensuring that the JSA reflects the actual worksite.
4. Signatures, Approvals, and Audit History
Electronic acknowledgements, approvals, and signatures represent the user’s intent but do not independently establish legal compliance, factual accuracy, hazard elimination, or supervisor performance. Audit logs assist with recordkeeping but may be affected by connectivity, synchronization, user actions, or system failures. See the Electronic Signature Agreement.
